On May 23rd, the cars of Giti Tire Motorsport by WS Racing will participate in the qualifiers for one of the most important competitions of the year: the ADAC RAVENOL 24-hour Nürburgring. This year, the team has already competed in three stages of the 2025 ADAC Nürburgring Series season and feels ready to achieve a good result in the upcoming challenge.

During the 70th ADAC Westfalenfahrt, which marked the start of the championship in April, the public saw the Girls Only team, composed entirely of women, record a lap time of 8:44.036 minutes, the second fastest in the entire race in the class. However, shortly before the end of the race, there was an unexplained loss of performance and a brake defect. For safety reasons, the team decided to retire the vehicle early.

Seen as the start for the 24 Hours, the race brought good results. The BMW 325i, for example, had an extremely successful weekend, qualifying and finishing first in the SP4 category, while two other BMWs 330i entered the VT2-RWD and a BMW M240i in the M240i Racing Cup.

As is tradition, all cars run with GitiCompete GTR1 tires, which are part of a wide range of racing patterns used in events around the world. Stefan Brohs, Marketing Director - Europe of Giti Tire, highlighted the importance of the competition for Giti.

"Each race brings us more information about our tires", said Stefan. "Our European R&D Center in Hannover, Germany, will analyze all the numbers to see what findings can be applied to the everyday tire portfolios, bringing all these learnings from the track to the streets."
